The Hive
Welcome to The Hive, Northern Rivers Creative Network and Portal, a place where local practitioners can connect with one another, and virtual visitors can explore.
The Northern Rivers region of NSW is home to an exceptionally high percentage of creative industries practitioners including architects, artists, designers, digital media specialists, fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians, web gurus, writers and more.
The Hive is a one-stop shop introducing you to some of these individuals and businesses - sharing their stories, and showcasing their work, designs and ideas.
Visitors to The Hive can search for creative businesses by name, interest area, or location, or simply enjoy viewing the regularly updated feature pages in which we shine the light on new practitioners each week.
All Northern Rivers based arts and creative industry professionals who meet the following criteria are invited to create and submit a Profile.
It's free to list on The Hive and you can link directly from the Portal to your own website or blog.
To be eligible to create a Profile you must:
- Be a professional artist or creative industries professional/enterprise
- Have an operational base in the Northern Rivers region of NSW
- Have an ABN
- Be actively trading
- Have a website or blog
Also if the location of your business is identified on your website or blog, it must be recorded as being in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
