Hi there, we are Claire McGarry and Samuel J Fell and we run 12-Gauge Creative, a music consultancy business that equips musicians with essential business skills. Between us we've been working in the music industry for nearly twenty years - Claire is the director of CM Artist Booking, Sam is Deputy Editor of Rhythms Magazine and a contributor to Rolling Stone and national Street Press. We love music and believe that a healthy, vibrant music culture is crucial to our local region. We also understand how difficult it can be to get ahead in an industry that is constantly changing and where success depends upon a lot more than musical talent. We set up 12-Gauge Creative to help musicians manage themselves independently of music or record companies, by mastering skills like business planning, marketing, financial planning, and writing grants and press releases. We enjoy working with people and are able to address the unique needs of musicians and of our local, arts-loving community.
