Erika Taylor works in a niche profession as a digital heritage specialist and curator, and while she is located in the coastal village of Lennox Head, her work takes her all over the world. She is one of 50 local creative professionals who have joined Arts Northern Rivers' online creative hub The Hive. We spoke to her about her passion for bringing museums into the digital age.

In October last year local artist, gallery curator and arts worker, Julie Barratt was appointed to the role of Accessible Arts Officer for the New South Wales North Coast. While she spent the second half of 2011 in a part-time capacity, Julie begins the role in earnest this year, with the program launch in February and a lot of challenging work to follow.

Peter Wood says prefers to hit the ground running when it comes to starting a new job. Well, he has certainly done that at Arts Northern Rivers, where in only a couple of weeks, he has already begun to fulfill some short term promises and to set long term goals. He shares his vision so far for the organisation in 2012.

At the end of last year Arts Northern Rivers Indigenous Arts Development Officer Rob Appo was chosen to participate in the Wesfarmers Indigenous Arts Leadership Program, and it was an experience he says he'll never forget.

Bruce Pringle is a metal artisan and jewellery maker, whose Hammer and Hand Jewellery Collective brings like-minded artists together and provides them with both a workshop and business outlet for their work.
