The Visual Arts Network (VAN) was a four year initiative supporting visual artists.
Outcomes of the project included workshops, marketing initiatives, Visual Arts Speed Dating for Artists, a curated virtual gallery and a high profile Visual Arts Curatorial and Advisory Panel.
Although the VAN project has officially concluded, we continue to maintain the Visual Arts Network website as an important resource.
The site showcases the work of more than 100 of the region's premier artists in an online gallery, which attracted almost 35,000 unique visitors in the first two years of its operation.
The VAN project ran for a four year period from 2005 to 2009, supported by Arts NSW; the Australian Government's Department of Transport and Regional Services; and the NSW Department of State and Regional Development.
