Meet Robin Davis
My name is Robin Davis descendant of Yuin People on the South Coast, living in Bundjalung Country. I am sharing a short journey for the interested of a developing weaving practice. The passion to go deeper into a weaving practice was slow self-driven and at times lonely, learning of plants, technique, gathering and how to prepare fibres. Investigation skills in me from art school with an academic background assisted me. I am now developing a practice that is engaging, I can be flexible, moving around shapes yet still staying in contact with the fibres and cultural knowledge.
