Artstate Tamworth Registration Now Open!

Artstate is a four-year project by Regional Arts NSW that shines a light on excellence in regional arts practice, and explores exciting possibilities for arts and cultural development across the state.

Each year, Regional Arts NSW partner with our network of Regional Arts Development Organisations to bring a vibrant program of regional, national and international speakers to a new regional location, where they can share their unique experiences in and knowledge of the arts. A curated Arts Program also provides visitors an unprecedented opportunity to see the very best and brightest talent that regional NSW has to offer.

Arts Northern Rivers kicked off in 2017 with Artstate Lismore, followed by Arts OutWest bringing Artstate to beautiful Bathurst in 2018. And in 2019, we’re excited to announce that the pitch up tent will be in the New England city of Tamworth, with the help of our partners at Arts North West.

From 31 October – 3 November, experience an inspiring two-day Speakers Program that explores the themes of On Country – In Country and Arts in the Age of Uncertainty. Accompanying the Speakers Program will be a diverse Arts Program that showcases the work of creatives from across the New England region.

Integral to Artstate is a strong focus on Aboriginal arts and arts leaders, as well as the recognition of the contribution of local government to arts and cultural development in regional NSW.

Sign up to RANSW e-newsletter and follow them on FacebookTwitter and Instagram as new details of the program are released.
