Byron Arts Magazine Charity Art Auction

Byron Arts Magazine Charity Art Auction

In response to our country’s current bushfire crisis, the creative industries across Australia are throwing benefit events, performances, raffles, concerts, festivals, gigs, exhibitions, auctions and more every day to raise funds for those in need. Locally, we are proud to see the creative power of the Northern Rivers community contributing to this including the recent call out from Byron Arts Magazine to artists who are looking for ways to contribute to the bushfire donation appeals to join a charity art auction.

Over 100 artworks have already been donated from local artists including Laith McGregor, Hilary Herrmann, Nikky Morgan-Smith and Colleen DaRosa with so many more amazing talents joining the impressive list. Bidding is now open and artists are still encouraged to donate more works to the incredible and growing list.

100% of the profits are benefitting 5 charities including NSW Rural Fire Service, Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery, Salvation Army – The Bushfire Disaster Appeal, SAVEM – Koala Rescue and WIRES Wildlife Rescue Emergency Fund.

The auctions, to be held at Kokomo Living Gallery in Byron Bay and the BAM Gallery in the Gold Coast, will be held in February with final dates to be confirmed. Bidding has now opened online prior to the auctions with more artworks added to the website everyday.
