EOIs Open for Dalaang Galii Wogun Exhibition

Aligning with the Dalaang Galii Wogun Festival in Kyogle on Saturday 22nd October, Roxy Gallery is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from Aboriginal artists living in and around the Kyogle region to be part of the Dalaang Galii Wogun exhibition.

This exhibition will provide artists with a number of fantastic opportunities to promote their artworks and develop their creative profile.

 

EXHIBITION

This local Indigenous exhibition aims to showcase Aboriginal artists working in any medium and art form.  Artists will receive an exhibition fee of $250.

 

ARTIST TALK

The Roxy Gallery also seeks interest and a proposal from artists wishing to share their skills through the form of an artist’s talk or interactive creative making (yarn up) session as part of this exhibition.

These Artist Talks will run from 10 am – 1pm in the Roxy Gallery on the following dates;

22nd October (in conjunction with the Dalaang Galii Wogun Festival Event)

29th October

5th November

A fee of $300 will be granted and some material prices covered for each session.

 

KEY DATES

Exhibition – 14th October – 6th November 2022

Installation – Monday 10th October 2022 (Works to be delivered to Roxy Gallery between 10am-11am)

Opening – Friday 14th October 6-8pm 2022

 

** Selection of artists will take place on 22nd August and All artists will be notified on 28th August.

 

Closing date – 15th August.
