Joining Arts Northern Rivers staff members Jane Fuller and Phoebe Rose is –

Ashleigh Ralph, Lismore Regional Gallery Director – Prior to joining the Lismore Regional Gallery, Ashleigh was the Assistant Director, Development and Operations at the Institute of Modern Art in Brisbane. She is also the Founder and Director of Innerspace Contemporary Art (ICA), a roaming gallery that has exhibited a sporadic, curated schedule of work by early-career artists since 2017.

Liz Terracini, Sprung!! Integrated Dance Theatre Executive Director – Liz has an extensive and impressive background in the Arts industry. Bringing vast experience in all facets of the creative industries to her role with Sprung!!, Liz has previously worn the hat of stage manager, lighting designer, venue manager, company manager, with specialist fundraising experience.

Niomi Sands, Grafton Regional Gallery Director – Niomi played an active role within the senior project team that successfully delivered the recent multi-million-dollar upgrade of Grafton Regional Gallery. Prior to this she has worked at the Glasshouse Arts Centre as the Gallery curator for ten years and played an active role in the opening of the Glasshouse. She has worked in several regional galleries in various roles across NSW and at the MCA as a registrar.

Nino Haggith, Music NSW Regional Music Officer – Nino recently joined the Music NSW Team as the Regional Music Officer for the Northern Rivers – one of seven music champions across NSW with a mission to support, resource and promote our vibrant original music scene. He has toured regionally and internationally as a musician and recording artist, and helped produce and manage events such as The Mullumbimby Music Festival, Bello Winter Music, Blues Fest Byron Bay, Falls Festival Byron Bay & years of live and touring events throughout the region.

Susi Muddiman, Tweed Regional Gallery Director – Susi’s role as Director has included her working across a wide range of visual arts activities, including curatorial work, capital development, policy development and change management. Susi is driven to increase professional recognition of galleries and artists by securing financial sustainability through grants, philanthropy, professional presentation of exhibitions, publications and programs, capital development and facility management.

Edwina Johnson, Byron Writers Festival Director – Edwina’s previous creative programming and curatorial roles at Sydney Writers Festival, Faber Writing Academy and Shakespeare & Co Festival (Paris) contribute to a 20-year-plus career immersed in the world of literature and publishing. Edwina is well placed to discuss festival and event management projects and aspirations, as well as mentoree writing projects.

Julian Louis, NORPA Artistic Director / CEO – Julian is a graduate of NIDA’s Directors course, holds a BA Communications in Theatre/Media Charles Sturt University and trained as a performer with Phillippe Gaulier in London. For NORPA, Julian is a theatre maker, director and dramaturg who has devised a number of place based productions touring extensively nationally and internationally.

Alice Cadwell, Spaghetti Circus General Manager/ Creative Producer – Alice has over 20 years of experience as a Creative Producer, Festival Director and General Manager for contemporary circus and arts’ companies, including Spaghetti Circus, National Circus Festival, Circus Monoxide, Circus Oz, and The Famous Spiegeltent.
