In response to the current homelessness and housing crisis in the Northern Rivers area, local artist and founder of the Reality Check campaign, Liz Friend has rallied the support of 25 reputed artists from across the country. They hope to raise much-needed funds to help alleviate this crisis.

All proceeds go to the Housing and Homelessness stream of the Northern Rivers Community Foundation’s 2021 Community Grants Round, addressing the immediate needs of the Northern Rivers NSW community by providing financial assistance to community groups and organisations supporting those in crisis.

The 25 participating artists include 2004 Archibald Prize Winner, Craig Ruddy, well-known Sydney based artist Ann Thomson, neo-contemporary indigenous artist, Konstantina and contemporary environmental artist John Dahlsen.

As well as Carlos Barrios, Amber Hearn, Hilary Herrmann, Gabrielle Pool, Emma Gale, Leah Thiessen, Amanda Schunker, Caitlin Reilly, Brent Hallard, Avital Sheffer, John Lloyd, Jonathan Kopinski, Ron Curran, James (Jimmy) Kearns, Nikky Morgan-Smith, Jan Rae, Dianne Ingram, Sylvie Kettle, Kitty Callaghan, Donna Malone and Liz Friend herself make up the impressive line-up of supporters donating their art from the heart to help those who need it the most in the Northern Rivers NSW.
