A series of dance workshops led by Emmanuel James Brown (EJB), Stanley Nalo and Miranda Wheen (Miri) from Marrugeku, Australia’s leading Indigenous intercultural dance theatre company.

The Dance Sector Uplift project was designed to reactivate dance, physical theatre and experimental performance across the region.
Expansive Encounters
Expansive Encounters is a reciprocal exchange between Northern Rivers and Ōtautahi Christchurch. Over a four-week intensive, two Northern Rivers artists will participate in an immersive research and development opportunity to increase their professional practice within art in public spaces.

In 2019 Arts Northern Rivers launched a premier online directory, Northern Rivers Creative. The platform is built to increase professional opportunities for creatives by connecting them to local and global markets.
