Pop-up Screening Filmmakers Announced

In partnership with Byron Bay Film Festival, we are hosting a pop-up screening event to present short films by some of the region’s best independent filmmakers.

The showcase combines filmmakers at all stages of their careers including previous festival selections with emerging filmmakers from the Northern Rivers Creative directory.

Filmmakers include Andy Bowles, Angus McDonald, Beverley Callow, Gabrielle Miller, Mia Forrest, Robert Sherwood, Ryan Andrew Lee, Stefan Hunt and Tim Nathan.

Prior to the screening event is an intimate industry panel discussion in the Palace Cinema foyer. Join a discussion around the current climate of the screen industry in the Northern Rivers in conversation with J’aimee Skippon-Volke – Byron Bay Film Festival Director, Ken Crouch – Screenworks Chief Executive Officer and filmmakers including Angus McDonald, Gabrielle Miller and Stefan Hunt.
