Marketing & Communications Manager

We are seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager superstar to join one of Australia’s leading regional arts organisations.

Based in Lismore NSW, Arts Northern Rivers is a peak arts body that works with individuals, organisations and government to generate, promote and advocate for the arts and creative industries in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.

The Marketing & Communications Manager leads the development and execution of innovative marketing and communications strategies to promote the Arts Northern Rivers’ brand, programs and initiatives. They compile, maintain, and promote communication platforms, manage social media accounts, and oversee the design and production of marketing collateral.

This role works closely with the Executive Director to develop innovative marketing strategies and secure media coverage. They drive engagement with diverse regional audiences, enhance Arts Northern Rivers’ reputation, and contribute to the growth and success of our region’s creative industries.

 

To be successful in this role:

  • – Proven experience and successful track record with a minimum of 3 years in similar marketing and communications roles, preferably in the arts, entertainment, and/or education sectors.
  • – A strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and achieving targets in consultation with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • – Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate towards achieving organisational objectives.
  • – Demonstrated success in developing and executing multi-channel marketing and communications strategies.
  • – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity.
  • – Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, CRM systems and analytics.
  • – Passion for the creative industries and a commitment to promoting creativity and engagement.

 

Employment details:

  • – Permanent part-time
  • – 3 days per week
  • – Base annual salary range is between $65,000 – $70,000 gross per annum pro rata (dependent on experience) + 11% superannuation
  • – Based in Arts Northern Rivers office in Lismore
  • – Some travel required occasionally across the Northern Rivers region.

Indigenous Arts Development Officer

 

A rare and exciting job opportunity has opened to join one of Australia’s leading regional arts organisations as Indigenous Arts Development Officer (Indigenous identified position).

The role is responsible for developing and managing the organisation’s Indigenous Programs and strategies, outreach across the region for Indigenous creatives in professional development.

Working with the Executive Director and the First Nations Program Coordinator, the Indigenous Arts Development Officer will lead the organisation’s Indigenous activity for projects and core activity across the Northern Rivers. The role will also be responsible for ensuring Indigenous arts and cultural activity from around our region is supported through delivery of a professional development program.

An understanding of Indigenous arts, creative industries and culture, project management and strong community engagement is essential.

Arts Northern Rivers is part of the Regional Arts Network of NSW and is supported by Create NSW and the six local governments of the region.
